Who is behind it all?

My name is Lena Møballe. I’m 45 years old, married to Thomas, and mother of Hannah and Philip. I live in Silkeborg, Denmark, where I run my business with a deep passion for the fascinating world of mandalas.

My journey with mandalas started on a very personal level. Already in school, I found peace and focus through drawing, but as a teenager I gradually left it behind. Years later, during a stress-related sick leave, I rediscovered the calming effect of doodling – and when I began placing my drawings inside circles, they soon became mandalas. Since then, mandalas have been an essential part of my life. In 2025, I was diagnosed with ADHD, which gave me a whole new perspective on why mandalas have had such a powerful impact on my ability to find calm, focus, and joy.

For more than a decade, I have immersed myself in the psychology, creativity, and spirituality of mandalas. I create courses, retreats, and programs where especially women find a safe space to explore themselves, strengthen their creativity, and increase awareness in life. At the same time, I aim to collaborate with professionals to bring mandalas into schools and educational settings – as a creative tool for meeting children and young people with challenges around attention and patience.

What started as a personal practice has grown beyond what I ever imagined. My goal is to train people who can spread this creative practice even further.

In addition, I give lectures, run online courses, manage a webshop with creative kits, and continue to create my own artwork. My paintings and prints have found homes all over the world – from small reproductions to large-scale murals.

For me, mandalas are not just art. They are about quality of life, presence, and opening a door to something larger than ourselves. I feel privileged to live from my passion – and to see how it can truly make a difference for children, adults, and professionals alike.
